Having Quality Sleep-Time

Written by Admin on November 11, 2008.

SleepSleep is one of  basic human need to have a high quality life. Alomst 30% of our lifetime is spent by sleeping.

Normaly, the healthy sleep time is about 8 hours a day. But nowadays, with the Fully-Charged lifestyle, sometimes we forgot how to have a good quality sleep. These short tips maybe could help you a little bit.

1. Listen to white noise or relaxation CDs.

Some people find the sound of white noise or nature sounds, such as the ocean or forest, to be soothing for sleep. An excellent relaxation/meditation option to listen to before bed is the Insight audio CD.

2. No TV right before bed.

Even better, get the TV out of the bedroom or even out of the house, completely. It is too stimulating to the brain and it will take longer to fall asleep. Also disruptive of pineal gland function for the same reason as above.

7 Step To Get More Comment

Written by Admin on November 10, 2008.

commentWikipedia says it, so it must be true: “The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.” They are important, because they can tell you what you should improve, in your writing, your products: they tell you what they want, you might as well give it to them.

Next to that, building a relation is an essential part of getting people to talk about you, and that is the goal isn’t it?

But even when your blog software hands you all your commenting capabilities, there are other things you can and should do to get people to comment. So here it is: the 7 step guide to getting more comments.

Saving For Christmas

Written by Admin on November 10, 2008.

savingIf saving money for Christmas is something that you find yourself starting at the last minute, here are some tips to make the money you have go further, or tips to save up a little bit more before you get around to shopping.

Cut out the treats
If you’ve been indulging a little too regularly in that after lunch coffee from that expensive coffee shop, cut the habit in half or a quarter. Take the money you would have spent and put it in your Christmas money jar. The best part is you’ll appreciate the treat of coffee far more since you’re not getting it every day. You might not save up a bundle but I guarantee you’ll have just the right amount for stocking stuffers, or one medium sized gift.

Work more
Nobody likes to do this but if you work somewhere where you can take on a few extra hours, start now rather than a month before Christmas. If you work just five extra hours a week at a retail job for 4-6 weeks (and you live in North America), you should be able to earn $100-$200, if not more. If you work in an industry that allows you to receive tips, the holiday season might make people more generous than usual.

Top Ten Things to Not Do

Written by Admin on November 10, 2008.

I’ve seen my share of internet marketing blogs, and many of my clients are internet marketers. After I help them, they no longer make these mistakes, of course. ;) So, here’s how not to do an internet marketing blog:

………………….

  1. Have no internet marketing experience.
  2. Have no cornerstone product of your own.
  3. Put up tons of skeezy-looking ads for selling text links.
  4. Have no clue about how to write copy that sells.
  5. Demonstrate you don’t understand social proof by showing a FeedBurner chicklet that displays less than a thousand subscribers.
  6. Have no point to your content other than “me-too” posts about blogging and making money online that clearly show your lack of experience and results.
  7. Have a lot of “your ad here” graphics.
  8. Have a badly implemented blog design that looks like it doesn’t fit together right.
  9. Look like a blog instead of a real business with a blog.
  10. Offer to do paid review posts even though nobody reads your blog.

Making a Lifestyle Change

Written by Admin on November 10, 2008.

Just over a week ago, coworkers (who are always such good examples of how to be healthy at the workplace) mentioned that they wanted to start a running group for those of us who wanted to begin running. The coworker who was responsible for setting up the group was a seasoned runner who has run marathons in the past, and two of her colleagues were also regular runners. When this idea was mentioned in passing, I expressed interest because I had wanted to try running for a while. A few hours later I was told that the first running session would be in a couple of days!

I went for my first run just over a week ago and it was hard. My legs cramped, I was out of breath after what seemed like an eternity but was probably less than two minutes of running. It was a humbling experience, which I describe in more detail on my personal blog.

Since the first day, I’ve been making a deliberate effort to go for a run/walk (rulk) every other day. Some days are better than others, but the important things is that I make the effort. Even though it’s been only a short time, I noticed a difference in my capabilities after the first few rulks. It still isn’t easy, and the cold weather we’re experiencing certainly doesn’t make me bound out of bed, or come home from work eager to go outside, but running and walking are healthy habits that I want to have, and nothing builds a habit better than repetition!

With the cooler weather coming to those in the northern hemisphere of the world, it can be tempting to spend your free time curled up and keeping warm. Instead, why not take this often quieter time of the year to develop a more active lifestyle? Your body will thank you (once the aches have faded!).

Have you ever made a lifestyle change? How long did it take you to make a habit out of it? What are the benefits you enjoy from this change?
